Kyeu Lanza always had a passion for food service and hospitality work. So much so that as a student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, he majored in hospitality management with a focus on restaurant management. In 2019 when he needed an internship, reaching out to locally-based Diversified Restaurant Group was a no-brainer.
“The work coincided perfectly with my college courses,” he said.“And after six months as an intern, the company offered me a job as Assistant Manager.”
As an AGM, Lanza is in charge of leading the restaurant team, holding employees accountable and managing inventory and scheduling(among other tasks). He says the best part of his job is working with his team.
“I love working with and meeting new people.” Lanza said.“I think working on the Las Vegas Strip is the best place to do both! I get to meet so many different people from so many different cultures almost every day.” As far as his future’s concerned, Lanza is happy to stay with DRG as long as we continue to provide opportunity for growth.
“I come here with a smile on my face, and I leave with a smile on my face every day. That’s all I can really ask for.”
