Taco Bell Foundation
Our CEO and founder David Grieve sits on the Taco Bell Foundation board and spearhead many fundraising activities aimed to support Taco Bell team members and their communities. Since 1992, the Foundation has reached more than 4 million young people across the country has awarded more than $110 million in Live Más Scholarships and grants to youth-serving nonprofit organizations focused on education and career readiness.
Our philanthropic reach is much broader than just DRG team members. Our very own leaders are directing the foundation at the highest level, and we think that’s pretty inspiring.
Round Up
To help fund the Live Más Scholarship, the Taco Bell Foundation accepts donations year-round through Round Up: a system, implemented by our CEO David Grieve, where customers can ‘round up’ their order total to the nearest dollar at the front counter and kiosk. In 2022, Round-Up allowed the foundation to Raise $30 million which is more than ever before! Here’s what $30 million could look like through donations:
- 800 – $25,000 Live Mas Scholarships or
- 2000 – $10,0000 Live Mas Scholarships or
- 4000 – $5,000 Live Mas Scholarships or
- $30 million in Community Grants to 800+ charities reaching 1.3 million young people
